Every third day or so, I eat a whole meal of fruit - which is a large quantity of fruits. I usually eat only one type of fruit at a time - usually one of sweet lime, dates, musk melons. My body also seems to like raw honey so I dip the fruit in the honey a bit.

This means I am getting a lot of Sugar in my body. Even though intuitively this feels fine, I wonder if I am doing the wrong thing. I am totally off White Sugar , brown sugar, and Sugar from processed foods. My body does not like those at all.

What I have read about Sugar seems to fall into two camps - one that says that all sugar, including fruit and honey, are bad beyond a certain point because it overworks the body into eliminating the sugar and keeps it in a state of exhaustion in the long term, affecting all organs and hormones.

The other view says that people heal on fruitarian diets, and natural sugars are fine for the body unless there are any obvious signs to the contrary.

Which one is correct? What is your view of sugar?

Also, is jaggery one of the 'good' forms of sugar, that is, if there is any good sugar at all? Jaggery is a widely eaten form of cane sugar in India. In traditional wisdom about diet it is considered a blood purifier. You can read about it more here:
