It won't do the same thing that oil pulling does since swishing around the oil for 20 minutes pulls germs from inside the gums into the oil.

Total different benefits from brushing your teeth even with oil.

Some people don't do well with coconut oil for pulling and you might want to consider a milder oil like flax seed, sunflower oil, or even sesame.
