I am on the fence too. I am working my way up from 2+1 to maybe a 4 or 5 dayer and lets see how it goes.
You body does start processing its own metabolic water, you do make urine, but a lot less obviously. You shouldn't do dry without many rounds of water. I don't know what else to say, I've read that article a few weeks ago, let me read it again.
