Hello, I went to Philippines 8-9 weeks ago. I was terrible sick my last night there. I went to the hospital and I got texted they thought it was just a virus. Gave me some tablets to take, it helped me through my flight and got home safely. I felt bit better but then got worse again I knew straight away something was wrong. When I moved Melbourne, finally doctor detected a parasite it is called Dientamoeba. They put me on one dose of strong antibiotics, but after I finished in 4 days 2 days later felt really crook again, severe stomach bloating, nausea , appetite not great, dizzy and tired 24.7! Did another test got detected again, did a longer session with antibiotics different type, and after 12 days of that did another test, finally it said it was gone. I was lucky I found it within 3 weeks. Now it gone, I'm a bit better, bloating gone, nausea gone unless I stress myself out, but I'm still very tired , sometimes body aches too, and sometimes light headed. I'm taking immunine tablets, iron sachets ( iron was low to), probiotic , eating healthy food , but maybe need more rest. I just need ideas I'm a fitness person I never felt so lost in my life. I need something that's going uplift me and ideas other people done that worked for them. Please help me. Xxxx
