This is a controversial subject, but Stomach acid and enzymes shut down awaken very slowly. Well, at least that is how it is for me. Your stomach acids are probably not secreting at its fullest. This why people who hog out after a fast pay dearly.

Also you need foods that bring inner warmth, cukes and cabbage are cold, gas producing.
