Losing 120 lbs is possible but you do not have to, you will be underweight, for 5'-11" height. You can be 160lbs and that should be fine.

I would say walk everyday, read, clean the house, meaning give away things you don't need or are not using. Do arts and crafts.

Expect to lose 1lb per day.
