I had a similar problem; for some reason my body was just not absorbing the fluids so I went to a nutritionist, and rather than Gatorade, he suggested a product called ZYM which is fizzy tablets you throw into water. The lemon-lime ones are Sugar free; that's what I use and it makes a difference. If you see your urine is dark yellow, after drinking the zym water, it clears up, so you know it's working. Better than Gatorade and probably cheaper (have not calculated that).
