It made me shudder and very angry that parents do not have a clue the damage they are causing to their children. This little boy could have been heading down the road towards an ulcer.

She was not the only parent experimenting with their child and causing distress on open forums for autism. This is why with children you should always seek professional advise.

== PS. NONE of my six doctors over 15 years ever mentioned the possibility that heavy metal toxicity could be involved in my long list of Aspergers-like symptoms. I had to continue to dig for leads and found a semi-natural Functional Medicine doctor who was willing to try some different things, including detox--even though standard urine and hair tests were mostly negative. My life has been transformed because I did not give up looking for better answers. Today I work for a non profit org that gives teens and young adults with ASD opportunities to develop social and career-related skills. Groups such as Curezone can be helpful as people look for leads.
