Does Iodine affect platelet count?

I used to have a low platelet count, 100,000-110,000, but since using Iodine my count is now in normal range at 141,000. I'm almost positive it was the Iodine that did this. The only other thing that I have introduced into my life is the Liver Flush but I haven't been doing that long
