this is the response to me from a curezone member about a more natural cure for uti's:

"I have used Usnea Uva Ursi and it's great. Manufactured by GAIA herbs. Ten bucks at the health food store.

The Usnea Uva Ursi worked for me when I had a UTI. It you do decide to use it, do not take cranberry while you are using the Usnea Uva Ursi. Also do not eat strawberries, citrus fruit, pineapple, kiwi, tomato, vitamin C or NSAID (over the counter pain relievers). Do not take bearberry or bear grape while using it either. The foods mentioned will neutralize the action of the herbs.

I was miserable....running to the bathroom too many times, had aching bladder, etc. I got some relief the first day I took the Usnea Uva Ursi and by the second day I was fine. I used 40 drops in a small glass of water three times a day for a few days. Use it for only one week at a time. NOT to be used during pregnancy."
