Yes, but you can see how your conditional immortality thoughts can cause us not to all be on the same page, if you are wrong that is. How it changes how we view the rest of scripture from Jesus' resurrection to us receiving our glorified bodies. If we are wrong in one small place, we are much more likely to be wrong in other places.

Being offended by jokes is the least of our problems.
