I took a complex a couple nights ago that included l-carnitine, NAC (cysteine), and ALA. Because I wanted to get a high dose of carnitine I took 5 caps.... amounting to 1,000 grams of ALA and cysteine. I know, it was an idiotic move because I forgot that ala can go to the brain (and I didn't know that cysteine could). I think I'm having redistribution of mercury to my brain....I haven't slept in 3 days. My brain is swelling continuously and I can't go to sleep now. Someone please help me! I don't know what to do. I've had hair analysis tests done showing mercury and aluminum.

I have ordered DMSA but I'm scared to try it. Has anyone else stopped sleeping because of mercury redistribution? Am I in serious trouble?

I've never chelated before - this was a total accident.
