The truth is that many left because they found the real Jesus. They found the real truth. They did not deserve to lose their families over it, but loved Christ and Truth more. It was not easy, but it was worth it. The Bible does not teach us to shun people who do not agree with us. This is definitely forcing people to stay in this cult called the Jehovah Witnesses. This is the mindset of many cults. This is not the teaching of Christ. Would Jesus agree with an Organization that shuns people who disagree with them, tears families apart and leads some to suicide? Jesus would never agree to blackmail. They are not shunned because of sin as the JWs want us to believe. They are rebelling against a false religion, deceptions and lies. This is never a reason the Bible gives us to shun someone. In fact, the Bible teaches us to run from these deceptive groups. Our souls are at stake. Jesus said that whoever loves father and mother more than me is not worthy of me. Many left JW because they loved Christ more than their families. Jesus would never agree to shunning people for loving Him.

Also, if your Elders are appointed by God, why does God pick out sex abusers? Who is paying the millions of dollars of damages and legal bills the Watchtower society needs to pay to victims of child abuse? Is there a link with the pleading JW broadcasts for more donations and card readers at the conventions?

Is it fair for the Watchtower to quote from highly educated Doctors, Scientists and Researchers in their publications, but discourage its own members from Higher Education?

Is it right that normal Witnesses are told to 'live the simple life' while the Governing Body wear Rolex watches in JW broadcasts and fly First Class around the World?

Does the Watchtower Organization remind you of the Scribes and Pharisees who were scolded by Jesus for going beyond what is written?

John 1 says "and the Word Was God" in all other translations, but your bible says "Was A God". Is Jesus a false God? As Jehovah says "There is NO God but me" earlier in the Bible. You may want to look into the original language (Greek) and study this out for yourself to see who is right. I studied Greek in college. I only had a year of Greek, but we thoroughly studied this verse and the proper way to translate it.

Do you follow every new change without asking questions? Isn't that a telling sign of a cult?

Does Jesus care more about Field Service reports and meeting attendance or more about a person's faith and heart?
