Oh my, what a delicate question, that deserves a delicate answer. I honestly don’t know. Please ask your doctor. Give one a call, that’s what they are there for.
If you do find out your pregnant, and you want to keep trim, do what I did when I was pregnant with my son. After already having a child a few years earlier, and gained too much, I decided with him I was going to do it right. I ate a diet filled with fruits and vegetables. I stayed away from meat, which is still what I do to this day. I NEVER ate sweets or complex carbs. I took my prenatal vitamins faithfully and walked every day for at least 2 miles. I stayed very active with my small daughter which helped keep me in shape while pregnant as well. I do believe what kept me so slim and healthy was my eating habits. Fruits and vege’s girl, and nuts, oh yeah, nuts too….but careful, they are filled with calories.
After I had my son, EVERY ONE of the nurses was shocked at how my body looked like I had not even given birth the day before. I’ll never forget, as I was being put into the wheel chair to be taken to my car (I could have walked, but its policy to wheel you out) the nurse who came to wheel me said “okay, where’s the mom who needs to be taken?” I was like “here!” and she said, “oh yeah, right, no, really where is she?” I could have kissed her. And let me add that my son was born as healthy as can be, and has NOT one allergy or health issue…while my daughter on the other hand has asthma, and several other small ailments. Gotta wonder.
Sorry for the long post. I wish you well, and PLEASE consult with your doctor…we want you and your baby (?) to be healthy!!!
We'll be here after your baby....and so will the MC!
