Yes It can i don't need no study to know it experience is more valuable than questionable Science that doesnt apply to everyone. It is quite simple magnesium is a heavy metal and candida grows rampant when there are heavy metals in our bodies i had the worst reactions when being ignorant i spent some time in a room when everyone was smoking cigarettes next day i had was was for me the worst candida attack ever because of the cadmium (a heavy metal) of the cigs
so yes magnesium citrate i reacted badly too i am not sure about all forms of magnesium try or don't try to find the right one anyways you are not crazy and dont let people in the forum tell u the opposite it is all about personal expirience
