Dflugan,

Your wound is infected. When a wound is infected your blood flows there for repair more than when you just have the wound.

Fasting will help your wound heal much faster. You can use hydrogen peroxide to clean the wound. You don't need iron or B12.

Bruising does happen during a fast for some. If it happens in other parts of your body check if you are drinking enough water. But understand that your body know what it is doing.
