Try the Whole 30 cleanse. I got S.D. on my nose. It started as a tiny red spot. Spread to all of my nose, hairline, and above my eyebrows within a year. I have a sulfur face wash, cortisol and Elidel creams. They work ok, but only a temporary treatment, and dont completely clear the skin up. Here's the thing, my wife made me do Whole30, and within a WEEK my skin was clearing up. I'm 2 weeks in right now, and the residual redness is steadily decreasing. I stopped using my face wash (when I pause the cream treatments, the facewash is pretty much the only thing that delays the peeling skin) 2 days ago, and the results are even better. Now, this Whole30 is kinda tough at first. Absolutely zero grains, zero dairy, ABSOLUTELY ZERO SUGAR, and zero alcohol. My doctor helped explain the dermatitis. The body has a natural PH, which is slightly acidic. The things you eat can alter your PH, allowing different things to grow. If you've got 5 different petri dishes, each with a different PH, 5 different organisms will grow. By restoring the PH, you disallow the Malasezzia yeast to grow. Google "at what PH do Malassezia grow?" and you'll find information about changing the body's PH. The things you eat affect the PH on your skin, and allows these yeast to grow, so seriously, do Whole30 and DONT CHEAT. I promise you'll see instant results.
