Hi, congrats on looking after your family.
My best estimate is you guys are suffering from severe withdrawals from food additives , preservitives and esp msg which is in everything.

In the long run non-organic food can make you not just sick - but dead... But that's the worst non- organic non-foods such as cotton candy, and other junk. Remember many many many people have cured cancer by eating the right kind of non organic food. It's about knowing what to buy, what safe foods are, even which county to source your ingredients from. For eg, anything organic from china doesn't mean a great deal and can possibly be 10 times worse than non organic from Europe due to the standards. For eg, we only get our rice from certain countries of origin... And hey if your buying organic poisons such as candy... You might as well not bother. Organic asnic will do the same thing as non-organic asnic.

We are a huge family and we eat organic. It's costs us what most people pay in 2 months on their groceries for just one trip... The checkout person usually shake their head in disbelief at us.. It is insane. So we have to shop smart.
Many things such as watermelon, pineapple, and many other things use no chemical intervention and are ok to get inorganic (well in my country aus, anyway)

Look at each food and nutrient to see which ones are ok - study lists of most chemical foods such as celery, grapes, apples, potatoe - and just never get these organic. Look at what has minimal interference and you may be able to get them non-organic.

Yes you are making your kids sick by giving them JUNK! If you gave them non organic fruit or veg they would most likely not be ill. As the parent set boundaries that as a family you altogether shun non-nutritious food. Make healthy sweets and treats instead.

I fazed in organic but before that I ate clean... Limited grains, mainly fruit and veg, occasional meat (btw meat is a must for being organic and fish must be wildcaught!!)

If you are clean and weren't as strict with organic you'd still be ok and not sick.

One time after being clean and organic I ate corn chips with supposedly whole ingredients. I was in bed for 3 days having a spaz out because of hidden msg. After not having the additives, my body was re sensitised to them and I was greatly effected. This is what your family is experiencing. Think; if I had a non oganic coconut instead of the cornchips would I have had the same reaction? OF COURSE NOT! It's simply a matter of food choices.

Eating out and road trips is tricky. I usually prefere to take my own food/picknick... Or I am pretty astute. For eg I get Thai food and stipulate that any additives will make me ill and I'm likely to seek danages - so they oblige and leave them out.

Arab food is always healthy, so is a lot of quality Mexican (if you order right!)
And everywhere has seafood which I turn to the most!

I mostly stop by farm roadside stalls and fruit markets and just get fruit when I'm out. Maybe organic yoghurt. To my family we have accustomed ourselves that this IS a treat and better than toxic food. We love the random surpises of trying health foods while where out.

It's about YOU teaching/ educating and reprogramming your kids minds as to what is tasty and good and what is awful. My kids now look at people who eat junk food and sweets and pitty them. They don't feel left out. I educated them. My 14 year old sister came to live with me. She used to sustained on purely processed foods. She has lost 20kg and is now educated as to how bad that food is. Even if I try I could not even force her to eat unhealthy food... She has made health her philosophy. That would have never had happened if every so often we ate chocolate and junk food. It would have been a contradiction and confused her. Stay firm and imbed your philosophy to your kids... Otherwise some multinational corp will!

As for vitamins and powders - sure they are necessary sometimes. I do not allow my kids to have them. They are for adults only. The Eason being is that if you get your kids bodies used to that they will need and often rely on it. They are harsh on the body. Us adults take them every so often for short periods as a pep up only when they are needed. I have the same rainbow light. I try to stay away from concentrated stuff as the body isn't naturally used to taking things in that form.. USE FOOD AS YOUR MEDICINE!
Focus on a nutrient, then medicinslise your family with it and move on to another. We shouldn't need pills to solve our problems. It's a bad way to train our kids. Nutrients comes from the right foods in the right amounts.

Also eat only what you need when your hungry. Over eating organic food will make you sick and broke.

I really do applaud your steps to better health!! Xx
