I think your biggest mistake was stopping the MSM. It is the most all encompassing supplement you could ever take because it helps ALL cells communicate better - including those within your kidneys. The best place to learn all of what this stuff can do is at Bill Rich Distributing(I'm not a salesman for them). One of the keys to its effectiveness is to take a modest amount of Vitamin C with it because it acts as catalyst. Also, if you weren't ingesting 64 ounces of water a day, that could have presented a hardship on your kidneys that they couldn't sustain. Bill Rich has other cutting edge supplements that may be able to bring your kidneys to full health if you take them alongside the MSM. Bill Rich has been the expert on MSM since the 1990's. You were wise for giving MSM a good while to kick in. I think if you call Bill Rich about your whole history, they would give you wise counsel. Best of everything to you.
