According to various studies, mino is as effective or moreso than doxy. Mino is much harder to obtain tho, and is expensive.

No stomach upset as with doxy, and also no diet restrictions i.e. calcium.

Not made for animals that I know of.

If you can convince your doctor, it is prescribed long term for acne.
