My diet has not changed.
I checked that one symptom of anal fissure is bleeding, which I have not experienced. However I have had hemorrhoids every so often since having a bout of diarrhoea.

I remember having a similar (faecal smell) occurrence a few years ago, after having diarrhoea.

I had taken Antibiotics (Clarithromycin) for 4 days and noticed no smell for several day,but after the several days it came back unfortunately.

I notice it gets really bad after sitting for several hours.

I am wondering whether this is a anatomical issue or some infection/fungus?

I appreciate your help so much - this has been a nightmare for me.
