It's possible to have contracted a bacterial infection from something. What you describe sounds like Morgellons and people who have morgellons usually have Lyme with other coinfections. I had it and had fibers coming out of my body especially the calluses I had. I am on Antibiotics , NAC, and several herbs and I feel much better
