Nope. The RC doctrine of Purgatory mandates that it's an intermediate state between heaven & hell that makes unworthy souls fit enough for heaven - by 'cleansing' them of unconfessed sin, etc. In other words, a con invented by the church to extract more cash from a gullible laity. Hell is the place of eternal torment for the damned, who have no hope of redemption. You're getting your snickers in a twixt again.
