Anybody can get bed bugs. An infestation came into my home with the purchase of a new mattress. Some of my health issues began around that time. Bedbugs are carry/vectors:

There oughta be Public De-Lousing Programs available. Awareness and practical with resources ... Taught just like CPR, etc... Free!

First Responders take more risk than most of us (I have to say ~Thank You~ for that!), which is why I'm not surprised to see bed bug cases in EMS stations across the country.
