Sorry for the 4 year bump.

I've had my biopsy results return and I have the same result. The diagnosis from the pathologist who examined the biopsy says "lip mucinosis".

When I asked my dermatologist what the hell that is she described something like the reticular erythematous mucinosis. Apparently it's quite rare and tomorrow I'll be going to be examined by a group of doctors who will decide how it should be treated at the same hospital.

Apparently it's quite rare.
