That is why I think it's good to read it as written and look for the deeper meaning as well...but the fact is that there really was a "real" relationship between Solomon and his Beloved. That was the point I wanted to make. You can't do like Alexander and just write something off as "not real" because you prefer to believe it that way. I read Solomon's Father's writings the same way.
