I honestly think this fear of 'saliva' is complete bullshit. I'm happy that you have made progress with your condition but from the few posts i've read i can clearly see you have a very minimal understanding of this illness.

i would even go as far as to say that your change in diet is 100% the reason for your change in lips.

Saliva dries out the lips (because of the digestive enzymes) especially when you constantly lick them and actually makes the E.C a lot worse for most of us.

there's no big picture to be seen. Saliva does not help this condition.
