Just some further feedback on this issue. Seems my stomach acidity is just fine so no trouble there.

STILL waiting on the outcome of my TTG antibody test which will confirm celiac if positive. However, my calprotein level was tested a second time (by the state lab this time) and it came back 17mcg/g compared to the private lab which showed 10mcg/g. Both of these are well within range. A high range would be 60mcg/g - 150mcg/g. From this my doctor ruled out IBD but not IBS, but was hesitant to diagnose at this time without the results of the TTG antibody test. They are taking their sweet f***ing time the hematology department.

So one more step closer to a proper diagnosis and relief that a lot of my investigation over the past few months has been in the right area. It at least gives enough corroborative evidence for me to attempt a healing protocol for the IBS/leaky gut as they are so closely related. I won't start until the doctor confirms IBS though.

I've still yet to find out how my lichen sclerosus ties in with all this and I want to be lyme tested as well.
