There are several types of flukes. Intestinal flukes and liver flukes are not treated with the same medication.

Liver flukes are treated with triclabendazole or nitazoxanide. Triclabendazole is not readily available in the U.S., but it can be found.

Intestinal flukes and most other flukes are treated with praziquantel.
