Hey mate, yes it definitely stops build up. Using this product essentially stops the build up from forming all together because the skin heals via moist wound healing.

Lips definitely feel hydrated and elastic once the product is removed. While it's on, your lips will feel the complete opposite, but it's whats under that barrier that we really care about.
