Thank you Grizz, I am just a bit wary of moving too fast at the moment as I may have Hashimotos although my Doctor would not agree. In the UK they won't look at you till your TSH goes above 10, not that I want them to. My last TSH was 3.6 which is considered normal here. At my current dose of 4mg I feel warm and sweat a little first thing mornings after a hot drink and evenings after a meal, only for a short while, so I know something is working. The rest of the time I feel normal, but certainly warmer than I have for years. I read something by Alexander Haskell cautioning against starting a high dose protocol if you have Hashimotos unless you have started a short term course of thyroid hormone to bring the THS down first, which I would not have a hope in hell of getting off the NHS in the uk and I am not sure if I would want to go down that route anyway, so I admit to being very confused about this as it seems to disagree with Brownstein and information I have read here and elsewhere that all will be well if you take companion supplements. I have been taking them all except the higher B2/B3 for at least a year, but only the RDA of Iodine up to a month ago when I gradually introduced lugols. I wonder if the heat (which I think is adrenals) may be due to not taking the higher dose B vitamins as the high phase of the kidneys is between 5 and 7pm at night so it fits in? Anyway, I have ordered these now and should be starting them in 2 days time. Any further advice you could give me on this would be most gratefully received, many thanks, sue
