Hopefully Kschafrocks1 reads my message. Thank you for the kind words. Thank you for sharing your story. I am so sorry you have been through so much and for so long. I, too, am allergic to penicillin and it amazes me how between a doctor and pharmacy that can be overlooked. Tonight something interesting happened that has my unbelieving hubby disgusted. I took off the knee high stocking I wear under my wig. When I run hot water over it, it expands and blows up like a balloon and inside I can see wormy things frantically thrashing. It seems impossible to kill them so I placed it in a white bowl, put a paper plate over it and microwaved it. After 5 minutes I heard the popping sounds. I removed it from the microwave and inside the bowl was a blood stained stocking with bloody shaped worms outlined. I was horrified but also felt validated. I microwaved an unused knee high stocking and it did not come out bloody. I took it to my husband, stuck it under his nose and said "do you see red blood"? "Yep, blood or tomato sauce, what is that"? I so enjoyed telling him it was my knee high stocking that just came off my head and it WAS NOT tomato sauce. Sorry for the husband bashing but WTF, 4 years of this and the "delusional" comments and the "why don't you get over yourself, you have milked this enough" hurts and hurts. I am so happy that you have found a wonderful husband, I bet you are an awesome lady and very brave. It is so hard to get out of bed, and knowing what I will have to face and cleaning house over and over, I am so exhausted. I have never been bitten by a reclusive spider, and I never had the recommended surgery for the mesh patch either. After a hysterectomy in 1998 and difficulty with estrogen actually working on me I developed fibromyalgia which went into Lupus and then Rheumatoid Arthritis , already having a nonfunctional thyroid, my system was just a mess, as was I. I give myself my estrogen shots exactly 16 days, 4 hrs and 35 minutes apart and I have tried to extend the time without success. When you start crying just because the green light turned red you know you need a shot, but hey, atleast I know myself. It is time for all of us to find the answers, to be diagnosed and treated. The medical field needs to go back to the days of listening and healing rather than calling people mental. They can label me, humiliate me and sometimes send me to bed but this has gone on way too long. People are suffering and even dying these days. I think they are aware of parasites, I can see the look in their eyes after looking at my ears, scalp, nose, mouth or eyes. I need now to learn what to do with these bloody knee high stockings. I feel blessed in that I think I now have something to prove my illness. By the way, I shave my head, it all fell out anyway, so if any ladies are reading this, shave, shave, shave, and to heck with anyone who thinks your nuts, keeping my scalp shaved helps me with the crawling and itching a tiny bit. I think this is something in the follicles as when I sweat, which is alot, it seems to be worse. People near you when you start scratching at your head really take notice and move away, so be sure to scratch when you see your doctor! J/K.
