I have not had any such problems with coconut oil and I do enjoy it. Type 1 like you but +20 years your age.

Was this with only one type/brand of coconut oil or have you tried different varieties? Maybe there was something in it which should not be there such as Hexane.

I was not aware that there were other people who have experienced similar things.
