Ok, I guess I should have clarified my advice that a detox is best after finishing a parasite cleanse. You have to rid your body of the poisons you used to kill the parasites as well as other chemicals that you have acquired. Whether you use herbal products or pharmaceuticals, they are all poisons to our systems.
It is best to do one thing at a time in my opinion. My personal belief is that one should kill parasites first and later address issues like diabetes, detox, liver flush, etc. parasites like organs and it is hard to get your organs to function properly when they are being attacked by parasites.
Parasites live in a biofilm. That biofilm needs to be damaged in order to get to the parasites. The biofilm is iron, magnesium, calcium and cellulose. Best not to supplement to build up the biofilm while eliminating parasites. Bromelain capsules between meals will help break down the biofilm. It was a game changer in my parasite cleanse when my Naturopath figured this out and prescribed bromelain.
Subsequently my research has shown that we need a healthy biofilm in our gut. After the cleanse was over, I had to repair the biofilm and a leaky gut. I think the two are related. The best thing that worked for both was 2 stewed apples a day for over 10 days. I was told that it was the pectin in the apples that was key. Bone broth was also very helpful.
Now I am detoxing. My Naturopath prescribed clay instead of charcoal as a cleanse. He said the clay will not pull out the supplements as the charcoal will. When doing hydrotherapy, I find particles similar to sand on my skin when I am done. My Naturopath identified those as toxins. They have lessened over time.
I was fortunate to have done years of hot room yoga and an organic diet before being infested with parasites, so my chemical burden was low from all of the sweating and pure food.
It's all a journey to help our bodies heal and I too am grateful for CureZone.
