I agree with your thinking that your liver is supported and feeling better, and this makes detox at the lower level of Iodine less likely. When our cells need iodine, it would be almost impossible for us not to absorb it. Vitamins B2, B3, and C will ensure your symporters are in good working order. These sodium Iodide symporters (NIS) are the way Iodide makes its way into the cell. As your dose of Iodine increases, you will need more symporters, but the companion nutrients will ensure you have them. Your absorption should be all it can be.

Because your skin is the organ you most wish to target at this point, I suggest that further increases be in the form of SSKI -- Trapper's to be specific. Iodide is the form that skin most wants to have. Perhaps 100 mg Lugol's and the rest SSKI .
