My friend took saw palmetto and she said it made her smell way worse. She also suffers from PCOS. I suffer from it too.

When I went on birth control and was taking spironolactone, I still smelled terrible. My periods became regular, but I still stunk. There may have been a slight improvement. Good luck with everything. This odor is a nightmare to live with.
