I am also gaining. I was taking 50 mg Lugols vit c 3000 mg, selenium (3 nuts), magnesium spray, and just started ATP co factor for a couple days but I had gained about 15 lbs in 2-3 weeks. I quit taking all but selenium for the past month and I am still gaining even tho I eat plant based and almost no processed foods, or Sugar and oil. However I have never done the added salt. Do you do the salt part?
