Many thanks for the nice confirmation of the Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier approach. I'm hoping for the best, since I have been suffering with asthma & severe nasty lung issues for decades, that I believe were all caused by years of smoking.

May I ask what generator you are using? Can you give us a detailed review of all that you know about it?
