(NaturalNews) While we don't yet know how a Trump administration will behave, or whether "The Donald" himself will prove to be an adept – and forthright – politician, any American who is honest will admit that his opponent, Democrat Hillary Clinton, is no shining example of morality and trustworthiness.
But in truth, neither is the federal bureaucracy one of these two candidates will inherit, and that includes the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. As reported recently by Activist Post, the CDC – along with the Food and Drug Administration – are flat-out corrupt, and operate under the whims of career bureaucrats (and the presidents they answer to), not Congress, statutory law or the people.
The website notes that constitutional attorney Jonathan Emord, of Washington, D.C., who understands statutory law as well as constitutional principles and how they apply to the Executive Branch's vast bureaucracy, was shocked recently when he was told by a lawyer for the FDA that the agency would not honor prior decisions that held its censorship to be unconstitutional.
In particular, as further noted by Green Med Info, the CDC is blocking agency vaccine whistleblower, Dr. William Thompson, from providing testimony regarding scientific fraud and the destruction of evidence by senior CDC officials in crucial vaccine safety studies involving the causative link between childhood vaccines and autism.
Bryan Smith and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., attorneys with the firm Morgan & Morgan, have been attempting to secure testimony from Thompson in a medical malpractice case. They want him to explain how the agency he works for committed scientific fraud in a series of studies that ostensibly turned up no link between vaccines and autism, Green Med Info further reported.
But the CDC has denied their requests. The head of the agency, Dr. Thomas Frieden, said that Thompson's "deposition testimony would not substantially promote the objectives of CDC or HHS [Health and Human Services]" – bureaucratese for, "We can't let him talk because he'll spill the beans and destroy our efforts to keep this link a secret."
Thompson, who has been with the Atlanta-based CDC for 19 years, and is a former senior vaccine safety scientist with the agency's Immunology Safety Office, has co-authored four separate studies that CDC officials say broadly exonerate the MMR vaccine and vaccines that contain the mercury-based preservative thimerosal from having any links to autism.
However, in August 2014, Thompson disclosed that data purporting to support the CDC's primary vaccine safety studies actually did show a causal link between vaccines and autism in children, despite the agency's denials. According to Thompson, based upon his reading of the data, "there is biologic plausibility right now to say that thimerosal causes autism-like features." He invoked federal whistleblower protection statutes the same month.
Thompson is listed as author or co-author on the principle studies – Thompson, et al 2007; Price, et al. 2010; Destefano, et al. 2004 – that are most widely cited by the CDC to debunk the link. However, Thompson has said that his supervisors, including the CDC's Immunization Safety Office branch chief, Frank Destefano, ordered him and a trio of other CDC scientists to specifically destroy data that demonstrated vaccine-induced autism in the agency's seminal 2004 study (Destefano, et al. 2004).
The data showed unexpectedly that there was a 250 percent increase in autism among young black males who received the MMR vaccine on time (before their third birthday) compared with those who waited until after their third birthday.
In addition, the data showed a major link between the vaccine and isolated autism (that which occurs in normally developing children who don't have other medical problems).
In a series of taped statements, a deposition to Rep. Bill Posey, R-Fla. and statements given to his attorneys, Thompson confirmed that the data in the seminal 2004 study actually did show the link.
