Hi I got it just before my 13th birthday, i used to bite my lips a lot, i wasn't aware of the damage I was going to inflict on myself. They were always dry and I was a chronic lip biter, and lip picker with a very sweet tooth, my mouth was always dry. One day I remember I bit them more than normal and after that they continued to stay chapped, dry and splitting, so I bought chapstick, after which they never got back to being normal. It became what I recognise now to be e.c.

Ps just before 13 yrs old spent long time sick with whooping cough I wasn't inocculated so it lasted months and I was given tons of medication. I must have had a form of yeast at the time from the medication and my diet as a kid.
