Well I am sure you have cleared things by now. But to reassure other readers, what you experienced is not that uncommon and the symptoms should clear up in just a couple of days.
In the ancient Chinese medical tradition meridians are the channels that conduct energy throughout the body. These meridians form a network of channels around our body. If meridian lines become blocked or are somehow disrupted the Chi or energy becomes congested. That is probably what you have experienced.
