Hi White Shark I know you are an authority on this subject and I'm glad you posted.

I have done the Liver Flushing with olive oil as per the protocol on curezone some months ago but in all honesty I don't think this even touched the sides in terms of managing and overcoming the problem.

When lily mentions lbinns success with probiotics :

I purchased this brand of probiotics out of desperation around 9 months ago when lbinns posted about his success but I live in the UK and it's a US product, manufactured and produced there. Lbinns is from the US which may be why he had success with it. I think all the bacteria in it would have been dead by the time it was shipped to me, it is live bacteria after all. This video explains it well around 8:50.

The annoying thing is they shouldn't be allowed to sell a product which may be completely ineffective + even if there is a small amount of still live bacteria the stomach acid is going to kill it off anyway. So if it is a numbers game I'm going to have to find quality sources of probiotics and in big quantities. I've purchased other brands of probiotic as well which did not help the trush, I can only think I either wasn't consuming enough of it to make any difference or the stuff was already expired by the time I ate it.. there is no telling how long capsule probiotics have been sitting around on a shelf.

The video at the end mentions fermented foods... here's a link to some examples ... http://dailyburn.com/life/health/foods-with-probiotics/

... the trouble is a lot of the foods sold in shops are actually pasturised versions where all the good bacteria is killed or suspended in vinegars etc that inhibit the grow of good bacteria.. so absolutely no good at all.

What option do I have but to start fermening and pickling my own food? I don't see how I'm going to get in good sources of probiotics any other way.

What I might do on my next visit to the supermarket is buy some yogurt just to kick start the process or some kefir.. although again most of it is pasturised. I'm going to have to start eating fermented foods on the regular.

I'm quite ashamed of the fact that besides a few Liver Flushes and one or two courses of capsule probiotics I've done little to counteract candida because I never bought into the theory until now. I realise it's going to be months before I start seeing results from dietary changes but that's ok. At this stage I'm not going to focus on elimination, I'm going to bombard my gut with as much probiotic food as I can get my hands on and see how the body reacts first.

I know you know all of this already I'm just talking out loud. I can't talk about any of this stuff with people I know in real life.
