One week ago, I administered a coffee enema, (approximately 14 oz.) and it was way too hot. In spite of being way too hot, I held it for 15 minutes. I felt basically fine for a few days, other than the reappearance of a hemorrhoid that had been gone for many years. After a few days though, I began to feel really awful. I'm having terrible anxiety, thirst, and liver and kidney discomfort. My stools have varied from well formed to loose but are a little yellow. I've become terribly worried that I've permanently damaged myself. Please let me know of your experiences with too hot enemas. Am I in serious trouble? I'm not able to get in with my most trusted doctor for two more weeks.
