About the inflammation you are talking about only happens if you leave the crusts dry for 2 weeks it welds on then you forcefully remove them of course they will be inflammed. Ill try to explain. You need to just moisten your lips throughout the day, not all the time a little goes along way put a nie coating on then let it dry and reaply as needed. In a few days the crud will be really soft and practically fall off on its own then remove it with your tounge.
