I'm on day 8 of my first cleanse and I've been taking Smooth Move since the start. Never had any cramps of any kind. I've let it steep 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, and never had any problems. If you do start to have problems, adjust your steep time until you get to a point where you don't have issues.
