MY CAUSES AND CURE:

-Cause: lip biting and licking over the course of at least 4 years + exposure to elements and stress

-Cure: I applied lemon to my lips which seemed to be almost cured after months of applying aquaphor and vitamin e, which to my surprise made them peel a layer (I hadnt peeled in a while + they looked fine atm) But the peeling wasnt the usual, it left this horrible red mark on my lips wich is why I went to the doctor (for the billionth time) Also it seems like my lips wouldnt absorb any of the balms when they were too dry.

Long story short I used a Corticosteroid 1% cream and after 3 days they looked good as new! A couple days have passed and they still seem fine although still applying aquaphor just in case.


Ive heard people say this is sometimes a temporary solution and it can come back, I guess ill have to hope for the best.
Also I no longer use shampoos and toothpaste with SLS and started eating healthier lately.
