I'm hypoglycemic and when I read the first post I immediately thought - sounds like low blood sugar. DO NOT go without maple syrup or molasses - this is not an option to skip. It is the only nutrition your body is receiving! You're lucky you didn't pass out, which I have in the past - not fun.
