You are missing the VITAL information of how many ozs per day. If he were taking a tsp 4 times a day, he would never get Argyria. If he were OVERDOSING with 2 ozs 4 times a day, then Argyria is more likely. Was he taking a quality Colloidal Silver , or silver MUD with tap water? Another thing you neglected to say. Colloidal Silver made with salt or tap water can be a serious problem.

When used as directed with not more than 2 tblsp a day of quality CS, I don't believe that anyone will get Argyria regardless of how long they take it, backed up by Steve Barwick.

Steve Barwick further explains in his file dedicated Argyria:
"According to these experts, the main side effect of taking excessive amounts is strictly cosmetic, rather than detrimental to one’s health and well-being."

"a normal sized adult could safely consume approximately one ounce (6 tsp) of 10 ppm colloidal silver every day for a 72 year life span and still be within the safe limits as defined by the EPA"

And here we have the SAFE dosage of 2 tbsp daily = 1 oz. taken for life to be safe.

So we cannot discuss Argyria without also stating the overdose in ounces per day.
