Matt. You speak of mg/ml and ucg/kg. This is causing me confusion. What I understand is mg/kg. I don't know what ucg stands for and could find no definition to help me.

Could you clarify?

For the record, I have taken moxidectin a few times. Because I knew what a potentially dangerous drug it is, on Day 1, I took a dose equal to a 100# horse. On Day 2, I took a second dose equal to a 50# horse. My weight was about 125# at the time.

Results: First bowel movement following dosing was as black as tar. This caused me quite a bit of concern.

After about 5 days I felt crawling again and, as I remember without looking it up, I took another 50# dose. I have kept a record of meds taken and can look this up if it's important to anyone.

After a month, I noticed that a long-time cyst on my hip was GONE. No other drug, and I have taken many, has had any effect on this visible cyst. That's saying a lot for the effectiveness of moxidectin.
