Hi All, I know that the topic of coffee enemas have been done a lot and I am grateful for the info but I could not find an answer to my specific problem. I just did a coffee enema about 3 and 1/2 hours ago and nothing has come out of me. I used 2 tablespoons of organic coffee to a pint of water. I lay down on my right side (I usually do my left side but I kept reading about people lying on the right side so I thought I would try it.) I held the pint of Coffee-Enema in me for 15 mins, got on the toilet and after a bit of a trickle of the Coffee-Enema came out, less than a short pee, nothing happened.
I have been doing coffee enemas for a few years now although sporadically mostly because it's the only method that causes me to have a BM. I have IBS-C...I'm lucky if I have a BM once a week. I also have Hepatitis C & cirrhosis. I thought the CEs that I do to have a BM would also help my liver. I always feel cleaned out after and I have never done a soap or saline enema afterwards. I didn't know that was something I should do. Regardless,I do get good results just doing the CE, always a BM, usually stones or silt, and the first few times, parasites and slime like strands. But I have never have had nothing come out of me after a CE. The only difference between this Coffee-Enema and all the previous productive ones is that this is the first time I have done a CE after being diagnosed with lymphoma about a month ago and I was nauseous and dehydrated before I did this CE. Oh and I have been taking lactulose for the past week...but I've taken lactulose and done CEs in the past without any problems. My abdomen is soft to my touch but my belly feels bloated and round like one of those Buddha statues. I also have the taste of salt in my mouth from time to time.
When I press around my ascending colon and transverse colon I feel some slight dull pressure pain and a feeling as if I am full and need to expel waste. But when I massage the ascending and transverse colon still nothing comes out.
I have never done a caffeine enema that never came back out of me or did not expel waste from my body. I am very sensitive to caffeine and I am worried about where the coffee enema solution went and if it will come out of me. I'm afraid to do anything else like a tap water or saline enema. I'm afraid to do anything until I get some suggestions or feedback regarding what happened to the CE, why nothing came out of me after I did it and what to do about it.
